Born in a family that has included three artists: both his grandfathers and his mother, Agatino Zurria decided to follow their footsteps. Although his major is in filmmaking, the process of making a film is so long and complicated, and it involves so many people, that recurring to paper and pastels, and the images that surround him, in the intimacy of his home, is a more immediate way to delve into his artistic views.

Presentation
La siguiente muestra es un recorrido por mi obra pictorica desde sus inicios. Las obras están ordenadas en series (Como Sunset Blvd. o Ante el Canto de las Sirenas) o grupos (como las diversas mujeres) y van desde las primeras que hice a finales de los ochenta, hasta las más recientes. Todas las obras son en pastel seco sobre papel. No hace falta que mencione cual es mi tema recurrente porque es bastante obvio, al igual que obvios son los elementos más destacados en mi obra. Espero la disfruten, y por favor, sientanse libres de darme su opinión.

The following is a walk through my art work from its beginnings until today. The paintings are organized in sets of series (like Sunset Blvd. or The Mermaids song) or groups (like the many women) and they are displayed from the very first dated 1988, until the latest work I have created. All the artwork is made in dry pastel over paper. There is no need to mention what is my favorite subject because it's very obvious, as it is obvious what are the most important elements in each painting. I hope you enjoy it, and please, feel free to give me your opinion.
